Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProRender (the "Service"), operated by John Smith, trading as ProRender ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What ProRender does

ProRender is a self-serve tool that lets you upload product photos and generate enhanced versions using third-party AI image-generation technology. You choose a style, we process the image, and you download the result. We don't manually shoot, retouch, or review your photos — the enhancement is produced automatically.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide an accurate email address, since it's used for account verification, receipts, and important notices.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including abuse of the free signup tokens (e.g. creating multiple accounts to bypass limits).

3. Tokens & payment

• The Service uses a token system: one token is spent per enhanced image.
• New accounts receive free tokens once the account's email address is confirmed.
• Additional tokens are purchased in packs, processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• All prices are shown in GBP and exclude any local tax that may apply.
• Tokens don't expire, but they have no cash value and can't be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money.
• All token purchases are final. We don't offer refunds except where required by law (for example, if the Service fails to deliver a paid enhancement due to an error on our side).

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the enhanced images the Service generates for you. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited license to process it — including sending it to third-party AI providers — solely to produce your enhancement and operate the Service.

You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to any photo you upload, and that uploading and enhancing it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. Don't upload images you don't have the right to use, or content that's illegal, infringing, or harmful.

5. AI-generated results

Enhancements are produced automatically by AI models operated by third parties. Results can vary and aren't guaranteed to be perfect, error-free, or suitable for every use — please review each result before using it commercially (for example, checking that label text and branding are accurately reproduced).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or to generate misleading or fraudulent product imagery.
• Attempt to bypass token limits, rate limits, or account restrictions.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service outside of normal use.
• Upload malicious files or attempt to interfere with the Service's operation.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but it's provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and will try to give reasonable notice of any change that affects your existing token balance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost sales, arising from your use of the Service or its output.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time; email hello@prorender.co if you'd like your account and data deleted. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms; in that case, any remaining token balance is forfeited.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
